Provisional thesis title: “Perturbaciones humanas, estructura funcional y servicios ecosistémicos de escarabajos coprófagos (Coleoptera: Scarabaeinae)” [Human impacts, functional structure and ecosystem services provided by scarab dung beetles (Coleoptera, Scarabaeoidea)]. Co-supervisor: Dr. Joaquín Hortal, MNCN (CSIC), Spain; expected dates 2014–2018.

Claudia Poyo (Undergraduate student; 2016), Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Madrid, Spain). She did her practical classes with our group, working together with Jorge Ari Noriega on the project “Perturbaciones humanas, estructura funcional y servicios ecosistémicos de escarabajos coprófagos (Coleoptera: Scarabaeinae)” [Human impacts, functional structure and ecosystem services provided by scarab dung beetles (Coleoptera, Scarabaeoidea)].
